Stennis International Airpark map Stennis International Airport is strategically located equidistant from the port cities of Mobile and New Orleans, and with two major deep water ports of its own, the Gulf Coast rates as one of the most accessible seaport areas on the Gulf of Mexico. The Airport is located in the southwest corner of the State of Mississippi, 8 miles northwest of the city of Bay Saint Louis, and about 11 miles east of the Louisiana-Mississippi state line. It is bounded by I-10 on the south and by MS State Highway 603 on the east; MS Hwy 603 has an interchange with I-10 at the site's southeastern corner. The NASA Stennis Space Center is about 5 miles to the west.

Present access to the Stennis International Airport is on MS Hwy 603, one mile north of its interchange with I-10. Twelve miles west of the Airport is the interchange at which I-10, I-12 and I-59 converge northeast of New Orleans. These interstate routes provide access to population centers lying north, east and west of the Airport: downtown New Orleans (52 miles), Gulfport/Biloxi (20 miles), Baton Rouge (99 miles), Mobile (100 miles), Pensacola (156 miles), Meridian (187 miles) and Jackson (194 miles).
