Stennis International Airport - 5673 Bytes

Owned and operated by the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission, the Airport services the  aviation needs of Hancock County, including commercial cargo, recreational, energy, business, government and general aviation interests in the area, and NASA Stennis Space Center.  Begun as a general commercial airport in 1970 with funding from the Economic Development Administration (EDA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, the Stennis International Airport boasts one of the longest runways in the South. Its close proximity to the Stennis Space Center and Interstate 10 makes it ideally situated for development.

The Airport is a full-service facility, with a fixed base operator (FBO) providing a passenger terminal, aircraft fueling, tie down and hangar space, aircraft maintenance, air charter, student flight training, and other amenities. A pilot's lounge and snack bar are also located at the Airport, and 100LL AVGAS and Jet-A fuel are available. Rental cars are available at the airport with prior notice.
